Where to begin... I'm a cancer survivor, so I'm a warrior when I need to be. I'm a mother to 2 wonderful daughters. They also happen to be my favorite humans. I'm someone's daughter, sister, aunt, teacher, friend, niece. Most importantly, I am unashamedly me. Simply put, what you see is what you get. I've had a few rotations around the sun. I have learned that life is far too short to waste on people and things that aren't important to you. I have a wonderful family that means everything to me. My friends are my ride-or-die people. I wouldn't change my circle for anything in the world. They are precious to me. I worked for many years in the healthcare industry and in education, specifically Special Education. I love helping people find their way. This passion has been my driving force in my work life. I started writing when I returned to school. I enjoyed it and found it was therapeutic as I was going through a major life change. As I shared my work with others, I found that what I had to say was helpful for others going through similar situations. This became my inspiration for writing and starting my blog.
